TULM and AD Ports Group Discuss Investment Projects Implementation

Batyr Annayev, Deputy General Director of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, and Merdan Byashimov, the General Director of Turkmenistan Logistics Center (TULM), held discussions with representatives of the UAE’s AD Ports Group in Abu Dhabi during their working visit. The meeting focused on the implementation of new investment projects.

As reported by TULM on Wednesday, the parties also addressed issues related to strengthening cooperation in the transport and logistics sector and the development of port infrastructure.

Particular attention during the meeting was given to the adoption of the UAE's advanced experience in port management and digitalization, as well as collaboration in maritime transport. In particular, the parties exchanged views on attracting and developing the transport potential of the two countries.

AD Ports Group, formerly known as Abu Dhabi Ports Company, is the exclusive developer and regulator of ports and related infrastructure in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi. The company owns and operates ten ports and terminals in the UAE. Each of these facilities is strategically located considering maritime, air, road, and rail connections.
