Turkmenistan Airlines' Plane Completes its First Passenger Flight to Milan

Turkmenistan Airlines’ B737-800 aircraft successfully completed its inaugural passenger flight to Milan, landing at Malpensa Airport on Wednesday, as reported by the Lombardy airports press service.

The ceremony, marking the first flight from Ashgabat to Milan, featured the participation of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Italy Toyly Komekov, and the representative of Türkmenhowaýollary agency Suleyman Durdyyev.

The Ashgabat-Milan/Malpensa air route will operate twice a week.

On March 5, 2024, a Türkmenistan Airlines Boeing 777-200 LR completed its first direct passenger flight from Ashgabat to Ho Chi Minh City and back.

Türkmenistan Airlines is offering discounts on round tickets for routes including Ashgabat – Ho Chi Minh City, Ashgabat – Milan, Ashgabat – London, and Ashgabat – Frankfurt – Ashgabat. These discounts will be available to passengers from February 1 to March 31, 2024.
