Turkmenistan intends to enhance partnerships with international financial institutions to foster a favorable business environment, stated Turkmenistan's Minister of Finance and Economy Serdar Jorayev at the B5+1 forum in Almaty on Thursday.
According to THP news portal, Jorayev also expressed the country's intention to expand collaborative ties with international financial organizations to support investments.
Furthermore, in 2023, the share of the non-state sector in Turkmenistan's GDP, excluding the fuel and energy complex, reached 71.3 percent, underscored the Minister of Finance and Economy of the country.
The B5+1 forum was initiated within the framework of the "Improving the Business Environment in Central Asia" program led by CIPE and funded by the US State Department. The event brought together representatives from the public sector, business, and experts from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and the United States. Its main objective is to promote trade, investment, and economic integration in Central Asia.
