SCRMET: UAE Business Representatives Purchase Urea for $26.95 Million
Grade "B" Urea

During the trading session at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Thursday, business representatives from the United Arab Emirates acquired grade "B" urea for a total of $26.95 million.

According to SCRMET, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan and Pakistan purchased liquefied gas produced by the Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern. The total value of these transactions amounted to $5.21 million.

Additionally, a representative from the UAE business community purchased ordinary packaging film worth $550,000, while their colleague from Azerbaijan acquired cotton yarn with a total value of $12.01 million.

For the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased cotton yarn and float glass. The total value of these transactions concluded at the exchange auctions amounted to 13.20 million manats.

Last week, transactions totaling $109.64 million were concluded during the trading session at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET).
