Turkmenistan's SCRMET Records Export Deals Worth Over $38.2 Million

Trading on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Tuesday saw export deals surpassing $38.2 million, reported SCRMET.

Representatives from business circles in Malta and Pakistan purchased low-sulfur fuel oil produced by the Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern. The total value of the deals amounted to over $12.8 million.

Additionally, representatives from the business communities of Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates acquired urea grade "B" produced by the Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern, totaling $25.4 million.

Last week, trading on the SCRMET resulted in deals worth $77.023 million.

Established in 1994, the SCRMET serves as the primary body regulating import-export operations in Turkmenistan.

2022
