2023: Trade Turnover Between Turkmenistan and Italy Reached Approximately €230M

The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Italy in the past year amounted to over €229 million, reported Trend on Saturday, citing a source in Eurostat.

During the reporting period, the volume of trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Italy increased by 32.8 percent compared to 2022 (€172.37 million).

During the same period, Italy imported Turkmen products worth €80.17 million, marking an 18.1 percent increase compared to the same period in 2022 (€67.87 million).

Meanwhile, Italy's exports to Turkmenistan in the past year reached approximately €148.83 million, nearly 42.4 percent higher than the entire 2022 figure (€104.5 million).

In 2023, the volume of trade between Turkmenistan and the EU countries surged to €1.87 billion, representing an 87 percent increase compared to 2022.
