First Week of April: Export Deals at SCRMET Approached $21M
Trading process at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan

The total volume of foreign currency trade at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) last week amounted to over $20.59 million, as reported by the SCRMET on Monday.

Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Afghanistan, Georgia purchased for foreign currency aviation kerosene, petroleum road bitumen produced at the facilities of Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern, as well as carbamide manufactured by Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern.

In addition, smooth and jacquard terry products, cotton yarn, denim fabric, and cotton fiber were sold to entrepreneurs from the UAE, Türkiye, and Kyrgyzstan for foreign currency.

Domestic businessmen procured polypropylene and petroleum road bitumen produced by Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern, as well as handmade carpets for the domestic market. The total transaction amount exceeded 6.701 million manats.

During the past week, 31 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
