The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is planning to attend the international economic forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum" 2024 said the Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, at the event's organizing committee meeting, as reported by RIA Novosti on Tuesday.
"Among the high-ranking foreign guests planning to participate are the national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, the Prime Minister of Tajikistan, Deputy Prime Ministers of Kuwait and Libya, members of the ruling family of Qatar, ministers of Malaysia, Libya, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Palestine, and Uganda," Minnikhanov noted.
As reported, more than 80 countries have confirmed their participation in KazanForum.
Since 2009, "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum" has been a pivotal international economic gathering in Tatarstan's capital. It acts as a catalyst for enhancing trade, economic, scientific, technical, social, and cultural connections between Russia and the nations within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). This year's event is slated for May 14 to May 19, hosted in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan.
