At the XXXVIII meeting of the Conference of Heads and Responsible Representatives of Railway Enterprises of the Member States of the Organization for Cooperation of Railways (OSJD), held on Thursday in Ashgabat, the participants signed relevant documents.
According to the Türkmendemirýollary (Turkmen Railways) agency, the Protocol of the XXXVIII meeting of the Conference of Heads and Responsible Representatives of Railway Enterprises of the Member States of the organization was signed at the end of the fourth day of the event.
As per the announcement, the document aimed at strengthening effective cooperation among the parties for the common welfare and development contains a series of internationally significant agreements.
During the meeting, the railway authorities of Turkmenistan and the member states of the OSJD signed a number of bilateral documents.
Furthermore, during the session, OSJD Committee Chairman Miroslav Antonovich announced the presentation of a special commemorative plaque to Turkmenistan in honor of the country's 30th anniversary of membership in the Organization for Cooperation of Railways. The plaque, prepared by the organization, was presented to the chairman of the Türkmendemirýollary (Turkmen Railways) agency, Azat Atamuradov.
