Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, met with Michael Harms, the Executive Director of the Eastern Committee of German Economy, in Ashgabat this Wednesday, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media.
Highlighting the productive nature of Turkmenistan's interaction with the Eastern Committee of German Economy in fostering partnership contacts with German companies, both sides affirmed their interest in further collaboration to expand trade and economic ties and attract new investments to the Turkmen market.
The National Leader of the Turkmen People expressed confidence that the outcomes of Harms' current visit would serve as a solid foundation for further enhancing mutually beneficial partnerships in new directions of mutual interest.
During the meeting, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited the Executive Director of the Eastern Committee of German Economy to utilize the existing potential more extensively, particularly in areas such as advanced technologies, "green" energy, construction of inclusive and "smart" cities, and emphasized readiness to consider specific proposals from the Committee.
