Two new gas stations have been opened and put into operation on the territory of Mary district in Mary province along the 309.7th kilometer of the Tejen-Mary section of the high-speed Ashgabat-Turkmenabat highway, Turkmenistan's electronic newspaper of the oil and gas industry reported on Tuesday.
The gas stations were constructed on the order of the Wekilbazar petroleum products enterprise of the Türkmennebitönümleri (Petroleum Products) main administration of the Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern.
The construction of these facilities was carried out by specialists from the 7th construction and installation management of the production association Marygazgurluşyk, who completed the projects on schedule.
To service vehicles traveling along the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat highway, each station is equipped with five tanks (metal containers) with a volume of 60 cubic meters each for storing fuel.
The designed capacity of each station allows servicing up to 750 vehicles per day.
