The Turkmen delegation participated in the Seventh Session of the Turkmen-Saudi Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation in Riyadh, where discussions included proposals to increase export-import volumes.
As reported by the official Turkmen media on Friday, Khalid Al-Falih, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Investment, and Batyr Amanov, Turkmenistan's Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for oil and fas affairs, led the delegations of the two countries as co-chairs of the commission.
Throughout the session, the parties assessed the progress of prior agreements and deliberated on resolutions concerning several prospective cooperation initiatives aimed at bolstering supply chain resilience, enhancing transportation and transit linkages, and ensuring energy security.
At the end of the meeting, the parties finalized by signing the protocol of the 7th session of the Turkmen-Saudi Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
