The new modern children's recreation center, Arkadagly Nesiller, opened on Friday in the Magtymguly district of the Balkan province of Turkmenistan.
As reported by Turkmenistan's official media, the opening of the center took place on the eve of International Children's Day, which is celebrated annually on June 1.
Based on the results of the annual competition for achieving the highest social, economic, and cultural indicators, the Magtymguly district of the Balkan province emerged as the winner among the districts of the provinces and cities with district rights. Following a decree by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the district received a cash prize of $1 million. The district officials allocated the funds for constructing and equipping the facilities of this children's entertainment center with advanced equipment.
Deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the provincial Halk Maslahaty, representatives of provincial and city administrations, public organizations, respected elders, and residents of the district attended the event.
The center's territory features a variety of attractions, an arcade hall, a café, a children's toy store, and more. On the occasion of the center's opening, builders received commemorative gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan as a token of recognition
