Turkmenistan Airlines has temporarily suspended flights on the Ashgabat-Kazan-Ashgabat route, effective June 2, 2024.
According to the press-release published by Turkmenistan Airlines on Sunday, flights to the Russian Federation will now operate on the Ashgabat-Moscow-Ashgabat route.
Tickets for the Ashgabat-Kazan-Ashgabat route will still be valid for travel on the Ashgabat-Moscow-Ashgabat route.
Between June 2 and June 17, 2024, passengers holding tickets for the Ashgabat-Kazan route will receive complimentary transfers from Moscow Airport to Kazan Airport. Similarly, passengers with tickets for the Kazan-Ashgabat route will receive complimentary transfers from Kazan Airport to Moscow Airport.
Passengers holding tickets for the Ashgabat-Kazan-Ashgabat route can opt to rebook them for the Ashgabat-Moscow-Ashgabat flight at no extra cost, if they choose. Rebooking at sales offices is unnecessary; passengers can proceed directly to check-in at the international airports of Ashgabat and Moscow at the specified date and time on their tickets.
Passengers are also given the option to change the date of their Ashgabat-Kazan-Ashgabat route tickets to another date on the Ashgabat-Moscow-Ashgabat route at no additional cost.
Passengers who do not wish to rebook their tickets for the Ashgabat-Moscow-Ashgabat flights will be provided with a full refund without any deductions, according to the rules and policies of Turkmenistan Airlines. Refunds are only available in the country where the ticket was purchased.
