Turkmenistan plans to establish a joint venture for the production of elevators, as well as the repair and maintenance of existing ones, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for Construction and Industry Baymyrat Annamammedov announced during an online government meeting on Friday.
According to the official media of Turkmenistan, the vice premier noted that the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan efforts have resulted in proposals for creating the joint venture, and an analysis of the relevant technical specifications is currently underway.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to continue effective work on creating joint ventures in the country that specialize in the production of various types of products. He highlighted the importance of establishing elevator production and creating a specialized enterprise for elevator production, repair, and maintenance, approving the proposal and instructing the vice premier to carry out the necessary work in this area.
The regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting also addressed several other state matters.
