Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Georgia, Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov, met with Georgia's First Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports, Ioseb Bagaturia, in Georgia on Wednesday. The parties discussed the organization of Turkmenistan Culture Days in Georgia.
According to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia, during the meeting, the sides noted the active growth of Turkmen-Georgian relations in all areas.
Bagaturia emphasized that joint cultural events dedicated to the great Turkmen poet will be held in Georgia throughout the year.
In conclusion, Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov and Ioseb Bagaturia expressed confidence that Turkmenistan Culture Days in Georgia will contribute to the promotion of the national culture, arts, literature, and history of the Turkmen people, further enrich cultural and humanitarian cooperation, and strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between the two countries and their peoples.
