President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Bernd Heinze, the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Turkmenistan, the official media of Turkmenistan reports.
Highlighting the positive nature of political and diplomatic relations, the Head of State expressed satisfaction that Turkmenistan and Germany successfully cooperate both bilaterally and multilaterally.
Both parties agreed that partnership in the trade and economic sphere is another priority of bilateral relations. The meeting noted effective cooperation in important areas such as industry, agriculture, banking, and the transport and communications sectors.
The longstanding Turkmen-German relations in the healthcare sector were cited as an example of effective cooperation.
During the constructive conversation, both parties emphasized the importance of further developing established cultural and humanitarian ties, which play an exceptionally important role in strengthening interstate relations, bringing people closer, and enriching cultures.
