The current credit portfolio of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Turkmenistan is estimated at around €25 million. According to the bank, the loan portfolio is designed for the implementation of 18 projects.
The EBRD project portfolio covers a wide range of investments in various sectors of the economy. As the EBRD noted in its report, the entire existing investment portfolio is directed to the private sector of Turkmenistan. Meanwhile, the bank has invested approximately €334 million in 87 projects in Turkmenistan.
