On August 10, during his working holiday, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov who attaches a great significance to the strengthening of healthy way of life and practices various sports disciplines, visited the Motor Sports Centre of Turkmenistan, located in the northern part of the capital.
Hero-Arkadag as usual started his day with physical exercises.
As supporter of healthy way of life who attaches a great significance to development of mass physical culture and sports, the National Leader of the Turkmen people serves an example for the youth, regularly practising various sports, including motor sports.
Hero-Arkadag took an interest in the conditions created for young sportsmen as well as types and basic characteristics of motor vehicles. The Center houses sports cars with modern technologies.
Hero-Arkadag, who has a wide experience in motor racing, went to the place of start.
Arkadag got into one of the cars and tested its technical possibilities. As the National Leader of the Turkmen people marks, before starting to drive, one should be prepared carefully: ones should take an interest in the road condition and climatic features of locality, level of car maintenance service. All this acts as basic requirements shown to sportsmen, engaged in motor racing.
Then, the sports car steered by the National Leader of the Turkmen people started and at once having gained the speed, made a series of difficult turns.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people displayed the skill of driving of the sports car with use of various techniques of drift, crossing the track of the Center at the greatest possible speed.
Hero-Arkadag finished the race, once again having shown skills of driving and a wide experience in excellent driving.
Then, the National Leader of the Turkmen people had a talk with the head of the Center of Motor Sports Centre of Turkmenistan R.Begenjov, took an interest in the current work of the Center and estimated the enthusiasm of the youth, which is engaged in this sport.
R.Begenjov expressed his gratitude to Hero-Arkadag for attention to development of motor racing and activity of the Center, having emphasised the conditions created here for trainings and organisation of competitions. He also informed that the number of young admirers of motor racing constantly increases, competitions in various kinds of motor racing would regularly be organised.
Having noted that the Motor Sports Centre was constructed in the earlier empty corner of the city, Hero-Arkadag expressed satisfaction with created possibilities for appropriate organisation of its activity on a complex basis. All this completely corresponds to high international standards. Arkadag also pointed out that construction of profile objects in the territory of the Center promoted formation of a unique small town.
Further, the National leader of the Turkmen people stated that some buildings belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan here are located, apartment houses for military men and law enforcement officers nearby were constructed, the centre intended for mass events functions. At the same time, town-planning works proceed.
In this connection, Hero-Arkadag underlined expediency of study of the issues connected with conduction of a complex of buildings of the Motor Sports Center and all-round study of possible places of its construction. Sports facilities and technical facilities near to apartment houses intrude upon leisure of citizens, one should also consider the growth of number of keen youth, and Arkadag said and proposed to relocate the Center. It speaks of the fact that the care of the individual in our country has a paramount significance.
The head of the Center, having marked a historical importance of the given decision of Hero-Arkadag, on behalf of all his employees expressed his gratitude.
Thus, along with preparation of sportsmen in the Center, it is necessary to raise their vigilance at driving cars, to develop ability to provide movement coordination on roads and strictly to observe established traffic regulations, Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlined and gave a number of instructions.
Addressing the head of the establishment, Hero-Arkadag underlined that the basic function of the Center and the task of state importance is preparation of sportsmen, maintenance of their participation in the international competitions as well as development of corresponding infrastructure.
Hero-Arkadag also informed that after definition of the location of a new complex he would submit the proposal to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country. The National Leader of the Turkmen people, addressing R.Begenjov, noted that his goal is preparation of masters-sportsmen and increase of prestige of motor sports in the country and the state will build and create for this purpose all conditions.
