From October 23 to 25, 2024, Ashgabat will host the international conference and exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2024" (OGT-2024), organized by the state concerns "Türkmengaz," "Türkmennebit," and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
More than 100 delegations from 20 countries have registered to participate in the OGT-2024 conference and exhibition. According to ogt-turkmenistan.com, the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) will also participate in OGT-2024, with the delegation led by the company's president, Rovshan Najaf, who will speak at the conference.
According to the organizers, OGT-2024 will serve as an important platform for the sustainable development of the energy sector and the attraction of foreign investment in the country's oil and gas industry. This international conference will help strengthen regional cooperation, expand investment opportunities, and discuss the environmental aspects of hydrocarbon resource development.
Among the participants are leaders of major international energy companies, such as Adnoc, CNPC, Petronas, Baker Hughes, TotalEnergies, Shell, ExxonMobil, Siemens Energy LLP, Lukoil, Gazprom, KazakhGas, Tatneft, and others.
Representatives of reputable international organizations and financial institutions, such as the UN, UN Economic Commission for Europe, OSCE, Asian Development Bank, and Islamic Development Bank, will also attend the event.
