On August 21, 2024, representatives from the Turkmendenizderyayollary Agency and the Caspian Sea and River Transport Institute named after Admiral General F.M. Apraksin of the Russian Federation convened for a videoconference. The primary focus of the meeting was to explore potential collaborations in training maritime and river transport specialists for Turkmenistan.
The Director of the Caspian Sea and River Transport Institute provided an overview of the institute's operations, educational programs, and initiatives aimed at nurturing young maritime professionals.
Following the discussions, both parties expressed their mutual interest in establishing a cooperative relationship and noted to undertake the necessary steps to advance this partnership.
