Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Kabul, Hoja Ovezov, met with Afghanistan’s Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Najibullah Hayat Haqqani, to discuss the implementation of a joint project for the installation of an optical fiber communication line.
The Afghan minister highlighted the importance of communication technologies in the modern era, stressing that expanding the fiber-optic network is crucial for secure data transmission. He noted that both countries are actively working to enhance the security of their internet infrastructure.
The ambassador also emphasized the importance of continuing collaboration on fiber-optic communication and cybersecurity efforts.
