From October 23 to 25, 2024, Ashgabat will host the 29th International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - OGT 2024."
According to Turkmenistan’s official media on Tuesday, over 300 delegates from 34 countries are expected to attend the event.
Organized by the state concerns Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) and Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the corporation Türkmengeologiýa (Turkmengeology) the conference has drawn significant attention from industry experts worldwide.
The OGT 2024 program promises comprehensive thematic sessions addressing critical issues in the global oil and gas industry, including energy transition, development of export routes, and environmental aspects of hydrocarbon extraction. Confirmed speakers include top executives from major international companies, such as Ariel Flores (BP), Matthew J. Sagers (S&P Global Platts), Rickard Wannby (Haldor Topsoe), Yevgen Groza (UNDP), and Kenyon S. Weaver (U.S. Department of Commerce).
Alongside the conference, the OGT Expo will feature over 70 companies, including industry giants like ADNOC, CNPC, Eni, and Petronas, showcasing the latest innovations and technologies. Turkmen companies will also be prominently represented, including Garagum Hazynasy, Nurly Tolkun, and Türkmen Gala. The expo will provide participants a unique opportunity to present their products and services to a wide audience.
OGT 2024 is expected to be a key international platform for discussing current challenges and opportunities in the oil and gas sector, fostering cooperation, and sharing expertise among global industry leaders.
