The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan amounted to $805.4 million from January to August 2024, according to a report from Uzbekistan’s State Statistics Committee.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported Turkmen products worth $727.1 million. Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's exports to Turkmenistan during the same period totaled $78.3 million.
Uzbekistan's overall foreign trade turnover for this period reached $42.7 billion, an increase of $2.7 billion or 6.6% compared to the same period in 2023.
Earlier this year, trade between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan for January to May 2024 stood at $455 million.
