President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, extended heartfelt congratulations to President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the people of Kazakhstan on the occasion of Republic Day, as reported by Turkmenistan’s official media on Friday.
"Today, Turkmen-Kazakh relations are developing dynamically across a wide range of areas. The primary driver of this progress is the open, sincere, and friendly dialogue established at the highest state level. Our regular meetings, where we discuss issues of bilateral cooperation as well as regional and international matters, have formed a solid political foundation for advancing ties between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan in political, diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural, and humanitarian fields," stated President Berdimuhamedov’s message.
On this occasion, the President and National Leader of Turkmenistan extended their best wishes to President Tokayev for robust health, happiness, and success in his state duties, and wished peace, prosperity, and progress to the people of Kazakhstan.
Republic Day in Kazakhstan is a national holiday celebrated on October 25, marking the declaration of Kazakhstan’s independence and the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty in 1991.
