President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh has invited President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to visit Mongolia on a state visit, according to official Turkmen media reports on Friday.
In his letter, Khurelsukh expressed gratitude for the warm welcome extended to the Mongolian delegation during their previous visit and highlighted Turkmenistan’s importance as a key point along the Great Silk Road.
Reflecting on his visit, Khurelsukh praised Turkmenistan’s natural beauty and cultural richness, describing the country as the “White Fairy” of Central Asia. He also shared his pleasure in participating in events marking the 300th anniversary of poet Magtymguly Pyragy, who has had a significant influence on Eastern literature.
The President of Mongolia noted the productive and constructive nature of their talks, which led to a joint statement on intergovernmental relations and cooperation. He added that the signing of documents establishing a legal framework between the two countries would promote economic collaboration in areas such as agriculture, transport, tourism, and culture.
In closing, President Khurelsukh expressed hope for further strengthening of relations and wished Berdimuhamedov health and happiness, along with prosperity for the people of Turkmenistan.
