III Turkmen-Chinese Scientific and Innovation Forum Innovations, New Technologies, and Issues of Their Implementation in Production, November 26, 2024, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

The International Scientific and Technological Park and the Center for International Scientific and Technological Exchange of Hubei Province, China, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish the Turkmen-Chinese Center for Scientific and Technical Cooperation.

Turkmenistan's official media reported that the parties adopted the document following the III Turkmen-Chinese Scientific and Innovation Forum, titled Innovations, New Technologies, and Issues of Their Implementation in Production, held Tuesday in Ashgabat.

The center will operate at the International Scientific and Technological Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, creating new opportunities for joint research and development between the two countries.

The III Turkmen-Chinese Scientific and Innovation Forum features prominent Chinese specialists, including Lin Xin, the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of China, along with leaders from various scientific and educational institutions.

Participants showcase Turkmenistan's achievements in science and education during an exhibition of innovative technologies.

Discussions cover a range of topics, including agro-technologies, nanotechnologies, biotechnologies, energy-efficient technologies, and advanced medical solutions. Attendees also explore steps to deepen scientific and educational exchanges between the countries, fostering new collaborations in various sectors.

On Wednesday, the forum will continue with bilateral meetings and roundtable discussions focused on the prospects for joint projects in science and technology. Participants plan to sign several bilateral documents at the conclusion of the forum.
