Turkmenistan will organize 850 mobile retail outlets for the New Year celebrations, covering all regions of the country, as announced by Nokerguly Atagulyyev, acting vice-premier for the trade complex and textile industry, during an online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday.
Starting December 5, holiday trading will begin at markets and shopping centers in Ashgabat, Arkadag, and all the velayats, according to official media reports from Turkmenistan.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of taking measures to fully meet the population's needs ahead of International Neutrality Day and the New Year.
The head of state directed officials to ensure that markets and stores are stocked with food products, including vegetables, fruits, and berries, and to organize mobile retail outlets so that residents can conveniently purchase everything they need.
The government meeting also addressed a number of issues related to state affairs.
