Entrepreneurs in Lebap Velayat aim to increase export volume to $200 million this year. Last year, this figure reached $135 million, and additional support measures for private companies and entrepreneurs are planned to achieve this new goal, as reported in the newspaper Türkmenistan published on Saturday.
The region has actively developed enterprises such as Altyn Bürgüt, Mizemez Gadam, Türkmen Ýyldyzy, and Altyn Saraý, which significantly contribute to the growth of export volumes. Currently, 16 private companies operate in the area, producing construction and food products that fully meet the requirements of foreign markets.
New projects include the launch of the private company Çelek in Turkmenabat, which has begun producing industrial liquid mixtures with support from a local chemical plant. The company sent its first batch of products to China. Additionally, the agricultural association Kökçi has started manufacturing battery cells and successfully exports them abroad.
Key external partners for Lebap Velayat include entrepreneurs from countries such as Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Türkiye, China, the UAE, Kazakhstan, and Azerbayjan, with ongoing active cooperation.
