The total balance of loans extended by financial institutions in Turkmenistan to businesses, organizations, and individuals in the national currency reached 90 billion 645.88 million manats as of November 1, 2024, up from 87 billion 306.19 million manats as of February 1, 2023, as reported by the electronic journal Bank habarlary published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.

The balance of loans allocated to state institutions and enterprises totaled 52 billion 313 million manats on November 1, 2024. The total balance of loans reached 53 billion 939 million manats on November 1, 2023.

Data shows that the total balance of loans provided to the private sector in the national currency amounted to 14 billion 137 million manats as of November 1, 2024, compared to 12 billion 375 million manats on November 1, 2023.

The total balance of loans extended to individuals and entrepreneurs operating without legal entities during the reporting period amounted to 24 billion 196 million manats. The total balance of these loans stood at 20 billion 993 million manats on November 1, 2023.
