Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan discussed issues related to resuming direct air travel between the two countries.
The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan reported that the matter was discussed during a meeting between Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Turkmenistan Nurlan Nogayev and the Chairman of Turkmenhowayollary, Dowran Saburov, on Friday.
The ambassador emphasized that restoring direct flights is significant for the convenience of citizens from both countries and for strengthening economic and tourism ties. He also noted that resuming flights would attract Kazakh tourists to Turkmenistan and open new opportunities for developing tourism infrastructure and cultural exchange.
