The 16th specialized exhibition and business conference Iran Agrofood, dedicated to the development of the agro-industrial complex, opened on Monday in Ashgabat. Running from December 16 to 18, the event gathered participants from Turkmenistan and Iran, showcasing advancements in the agricultural sector.
On the occasion of the exhibition's opening, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a welcoming address, emphasizing the event's significance for strengthening friendly relations between the two countries.
"I firmly believe that these large-scale events will give a significant boost to the further expansion of trade and economic ties, reinforcing the friendly and brotherly relations between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on the principles of good neighborliness. As reliable partners, our countries consistently build on the accumulated experience of fruitful and mutually beneficial interaction," the head of state noted.
The exhibition features agricultural machinery, innovative crop varieties, fertilizers, chemical agents, as well as food packaging and processing technologies. The international platform of Iran Agrofood offers participants the opportunity to exchange experiences, explore the latest developments, and establish professional contacts.
The exhibition serves as a venue for showcasing achievements in the agro-industrial complex and promoting advanced technologies, reinforcing partnerships between countries in the region.
