On December 16, 2024, the Turkmen-American Business Forum took place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyyev led the Turkmen delegation, while Eric Stewart, Executive Director of the Turkmenistan-US Business Council, headed the U.S. side.

The parties identified trade and investment in machinery for industry, agriculture, and water management as priority areas. They also explored expanding partnerships in sectors such as energy, transport, construction, innovative technology, healthcare, and ecology.
American companies expressed strong interest in deepening their partnerships with Turkmenistan, focusing on increasing trade turnover and enhancing collaboration in high technology.
