The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) conducted transactions for the purchase of cotton fiber totaling 42,175,950 manats on Thursday, as reported by the SCRMET.
Meat entrepreneurs also purchased co-extruded packaging film worth 860,000 manats for the domestic market.
An entrepreneur from the United Arab Emirates bought dyed waffle fabric, with the total transaction amounting to 444,000 US dollars.
Founded in 1994, the SCRMET serves as the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
