Carpet exports from Türkiye to Turkmenistan from January to November 2024 increased by 3.5%, reaching $4.9 million, according to data from Türkiye's Ministry of Trade.
In November 2024, Türkiye exported carpets worth $225.085 million to Turkmenistan, an increase of 14.2% compared to November 2023.
Overall carpet exports from Türkiye for January-November 2024 also showed positive dynamics, rising 5% year-on-year to reach $2.6 billion.
For the 12 months ending in November 2024, the total volume of carpet exports from Türkiye amounted to $2.9 billion, confirming the country's strong position in the global carpet market.
The steady growth of exports to Turkmenistan highlights the mutual interest of both countries in high-quality carpets and their strengthening economic cooperation.
The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Türkiye from January to August 2024 reached $1.532 billion, 16% higher than the same period in 2023.
