Ak Gaýa Economic Society, a producer and trader of construction materials that specializes in high-quality profiles and ceiling tiles in Turkmenistan, started producing 60x60 cm profiles and tiles, as the newspaper Rysgal reported on Monday.

Located near the Akdash settlement in the Türkmenbashy district of Balkan Velayat, the plant produces four types of galvanized iron profiles. These include lightweight profiles that ensure precise and compact fittings for wall panels and door openings. Additionally, the team manufactures C and U profiles for gypsum board and suspended ceilings, while T profiles are specifically designed for 60x60 cm ceiling tiles.

The newly launched ceiling tiles see widespread use in buildings, offices, and educational institutions, and the production process adheres materials to both the front and back surfaces of the gypsum board.

To support these new production lines, the company has installed modern technologies imported from Türkiye. This expansion not only broadens the company's operational scope but also created job opportunities for residents in the eastern region of the country.

The modern facility can produce 78,000 tons of construction mixtures annually and 8 million square meters of gypsum board products. A significant portion of the raw materials comes from natural deposits near Akdaş.

The high-quality products from the plant attract interest both domestically and internationally, with exports to Russia, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan.

Established in 2015, Ak Gaýa Economic Society started production of gypsum suspended ceilings and several types of profiles in 2021. On December 8, 2020, the ceremonial opening of the building mixes and gypsum plasterboard production plant in the Balkan region took place.
