The Administration of the Mufti of Turkmenistan, headed by Yalkap Hojagulyyev, and Saudi Arabia's Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, signed agreement on performing the Hajj in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on Monday.
Representatives signed a significant bilateral agreement on performing Hajj in 2025 at the Fourth International Conference and Exhibition on Hajj and Umrah Services, which took place from January 12 to 14, 2025, in Jeddah.
According to the report, delegations from more than 80 countries participated in the event.
Last year, 289 Turkmen pilgrims traveled to Mecca, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to perform Hajj from June 10 to July 9, 2024.
