The Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Pakistan, Atajan Movlamov, met on Wednesday in Islamabad with a delegation from the state organization Gujranwala Business Center, led by its chairman, Ahmad Ikram Lone. The meeting explored the possibility of organizing an exhibition of Pakistani goods in Ashgabat.

This project aims to create an important platform for interaction among producers, buyers, and foreign partners, as well as for showcasing products and exchanging business ideas, according to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan.

During the meeting, Pakistani entrepreneurs expressed their interest in establishing strong ties with Turkmen business circles to increase mutual trade volumes.

In response, the Turkmen side informed the guests about the priorities of state policy aimed at diversifying the economy, introducing modern technologies and market mechanisms, supporting the private sector, and implementing programs that enhance the export of national products.

At the end of the meeting, both sides emphasized their mutual interest in strengthening business ties and agreed to continue the dialogue through regular meetings focused on developing economic cooperation.

Gujranwala, one of Pakistan's largest industrial centers, shows rapid development. Participants highlighted the importance of establishing close connections with Turkmen businesses, which opens significant opportunities for both sides.
