The ministerial meeting of representatives from the European Union and Central Asian countries will take place in Ashgabat on March 4, 2025.
This event will serve as part of the preparation for the first EU-Central Asia summit, scheduled for April 3-4 in Samarkand under the presidency of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.
Leaders from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan will participate, while the EU will be represented by European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
