The total volume of cashless transactions using bank cards in Turkmenistan from January 2024 to January 2025 exceeded 21.3 billion manats, according to the electronic magazine "Bank habarlary," published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
During this period, payments made through terminals reached nearly 18.9 billion manats.
In 2024, payments made through the "Electronic Commerce" system totaled more than 1.6 billion manats, while those through the Mobile Bank system surpassed 19.6 million manats.
Cashless payments made through ATMs exceeded 509.9 million manats, and payments via the Internet Bank system reached over 3.1 million manats.
The report also indicated that more than 266.1 million manats in cashless payments were processed through the Halkbank terminal system.
