At the Turkmenistan State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (SCRMET) on Tuesday, export deals for the purchase of petrochemical products reached a total of $12.635 million, as reported by the SCRMET.
Business representatives from Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas for a total of $9.11 million, while a trader from Turkey bought $3.525 million worth of products.
For the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased cotton waste and autoclaved aerated concrete blocks totaling 372,931 manat.
Founded in 1994, SCRMET is the primary body regulating export and import operations in Turkmenistan.
