President of Turkmenistan Appoints New Deputy Minister, Head of Balkanabat

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on Monday with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tangryguly Atahallyyev and the governors of the provinces, during which he appointed a new deputy minister of environmental protection and the head of the Balkanabat city administration in the Balkan velayat, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.

The President of Turkmenistan relieved Begench Miminov of his duties as deputy minister of environmental protection.

New deputy minister of environmental protection is Ovezgeldi Goshjanov, who previously held the position of head of the Balkanabat city administration in the Balkan velayat.

The deputy head of the Balkanabat city administration, Myrat Nazarov, will serve as the acting head of the Balkanabat city administration.

The working meeting also addressed the progress of work in the agricultural sector and the regions of the country.
