Individuals and businesses in Turkmenistan can now submit online applications for import permits for radio-electronic devices, thanks to a new e-service launched in February 2025. The platform, developed by the Türkmenaragatnaşyk agency in collaboration with the Sanly çözgüt — IT meýdança company, is available on mincom.gov.tm, as reported by the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

All applications are processed exclusively through the official website, and permits are transmitted to the customs service in digital format via an internal IP network. The platform also maintains an extensive database containing key information about the imported devices, including brands, models, and IMEI numbers.

The system, integrated with the State Customs Service's Single Window system, simplifies the submission of electronic applications for importing devices such as mobile phones and Wi-Fi routers. It supports both Russian and English languages and assigns classification codes to the imported equipment in accordance with foreign trade standards.

This initiative reflects Turkmenistan’s commitment to digital transformation, optimizing customs procedures, and expanding electronic services across the country.
