President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting of the State Security Council on Wednesday and signed a decree appointing and dismissing judges. In accordance with Turkmenistan's legislation, the government appointed several judges to new positions and assigned qualification classes to others, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.

The decree appointed Agayev Begnazar Hoshgeldiyevich as a judge of the Sarahs District Court in the Ahal velayat with the 5th qualification class. It named Begnazarova Annagul Berdinazarovna a judge for administrative and enforcement cases at the Kopetdag District Court in Ashgabat, also with the 5th qualification class. The decree appointed Baylyyev Begmyrat Nurynepesovich and Kemalov Oraz Kemalovich as judges for administrative and enforcement cases at the Charjev District Court in the Lebap velayat, and it named Nurmamedov Erkin a judge for the same specialization at the Danev District Court in the Lebap velayat.

Charyyev Muhammet Dovranovich became a judge for administrative and enforcement cases at the Bayramaly City Court of Mary Region.

The head of state dismissed several judges from their positions. He relieved Kyyas Ovezov of his duties as chairman of the Berkararlyk District Court in Ashgabat and Berdimyrat Saparmamedov of his duties as a judge of the Bagtyyarlyk District Court in Ashgabat due to the expiration of their terms.

During the meeting of the State Security Council, the government summarized the work of the military and law enforcement agencies for the first two months of the year. They also discussed issues related to ensuring security and tranquility in the country, strengthening the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies, and further improving their activities.
