Turkmenistan Approves Joint Work Plans With UNICEF for 2025

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a ceremony on March 6, 2025, during which officials signed 11 bilateral agreements between Turkmenistan's ministries, departments, public organizations, and UNICEF's representation. These agreements approved joint work plans for 2025 as part of the UNICEF Country Program with Turkmenistan (2021–2025).

The agreements aim to strengthen cooperation in key sectors such as the economy, healthcare, education, media, and others, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The parties approved joint work plans for 2025 between UNICEF's representation in Turkmenistan and various state organizations. These include the Mejlis (Parliament), the Supreme Court, the General Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

The collaboration also involves the State Committee on Statistics, the Institute of State, Law, and Democracy, the State Committee on Television, Radio, and Cinematography, and the Union of Women of Turkmenistan.
