A new nine-story residential building with 144 apartments opened in the Parahat 7 complex in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.
The government implemented the project as part of a program to provide citizens with comfortable housing and timed it to coincide with International Women’s Day, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.
At the inauguration ceremony, large families honored with the "Ene mähri" title received keys to their new apartments. The residences were designed to meet modern standards, equipped with essential appliances, spacious balconies, and utility rooms.
Workers landscaped the complex, adding children’s playgrounds and sports facilities. Construction workers who contributed to the project received valuable gifts from President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The opening ceremony featured a festive concert with traditional songs and dances performed by creative groups.
On March 5, 2025, a ceremony in Ashgabat’s Buzmeyin District also marked the opening of new residential buildings, including three apartment complexes with 48 and 64 units.
