President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree during the latest Cabinet of Ministers meeting on Friday, discharging conscripted servicemen and initiating the upcoming call-up of citizens for military service, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan..
Between April and June 2025, servicemen who have completed their legally established terms will discharge from the Armed Forces and other military units of Turkmenistan. During the same period, the government will call up male citizens who have reached the age of 18, as well as those who have lost their right to deferment up to age 27.
The head of the state also issued a directive instructing ministries and agencies to conduct the discharge of servicemen in a solemn manner, rewarding those who excel in combat and socio-humanitarian training.
The meeting also addressed several other state affairs, and the government made appropriate decisions on those issues.
