The Erkin Agro economic society plans to build a dairy processing plant and cattle farms, Deputy General Director Begench Charyyev announced at the Exhibition of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the 17th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, as reported by the official media Turkmenistan.
The company has prepared a business plan and is working on purchasing dairy cattle. According to Charyev, he will soon travel to Europe for negotiations with partners from Germany, Hungary, and the Netherlands.
The first batch of 300-400 head of cattle is expected to arrive by the end of spring, with the second batch arriving in the fall. In total, the company plans to import 2,000 cows for dairy production.
Erkin Agro places special emphasis on the environmental sustainability of its projects, implementing organic farming methods and minimizing the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
