Tuesday Trading on SCRMET Exceeds $22 Million in Export Deals

Traders on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) closed export deals worth $22.2 million on Tuesday, SCRMET reported.

Business representatives from Afghanistan bought liquefied gas for $4.23 million. Buyers from Afghanistan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan purchased aviation kerosene worth $17.48 million.

Kyrgyz traders bought raw calico for $96.6 thousand, while Azerbaijani traders purchased cotton yarn for $386.3 thousand.

On the domestic market, local entrepreneurs in Turkmenistan bought cotton yarn for 2.32 million manats and aerated concrete blocks in various sizes for 3.03 million manats.

SCRMET, founded in 1994, regulates export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
