Vice President of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Guardianship, Oguljahan Atabayeva, met with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, responsible for culture, as well as with female leaders of Turkmen media outlets in Ashgabat on Tuesday. The meeting addressed important issues related to the health of youth and the development of their creative abilities.

The main topic of the meeting was the preparation for the international conference Year of Peace and Trust: Developing International Activities for the Benefit of Children. The event is dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the foundation's establishment and aims to emphasize the importance of safeguarding the health and unlocking the potential of the younger generation, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.

The meeting gave special attention to a new project—a nationwide competition for children aged four to eleven. Young participants will showcase their talents in three categories: painting, musical and dance arts, and national Turkmen games.

Oguljahan Atabayeva highlighted the importance of popularizing the foundation's achievements, which, in four years of operation, have restored the health of over 500 children and equipped children's hospitals across the country with modern equipment. She also stressed the significance of media outlets in covering the foundation's humanitarian projects both nationally and internationally.

An important role in promoting the charitable activities is played by cooperation with the Information Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, according to the report. The preparation of materials about the foundation's work should be innovative, with a focus on modern practices, to effectively communicate information both domestically and abroad.
